Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994 after she released her debut Album Age Ain't Nothing But a number. The album came out as Gold when she was 15 years old. It was made as an album that was heavily in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In 1996, she collaborated together with Jermaine Dupri and Timbaland to record her follow-up album One In A Million which included the top-rated hit song If Your Girl Could Only Know. The second album of Aaliyah entitled One in a Million was released in 1996. It featured the top song, a huge hit,"If Your Girl Only Knew. The year 2000 saw her co-starred with the famous martial arts star Jet Li as Jet Li in Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, film producer and director of Romeo Must Die spotted her at an awards ceremony. In 2002, she was able to appear in the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by The Anne Rice novel. The year 2003 saw her starred in The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. In 2001, 1999, 2002, and 2003 she was nominated for four Grammy awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She was born in Connecticut to a family of Indian heritage. Mann, her stage name is an abbreviation for Mankad which is her name as a married surname. Mann uses Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar as her official name. Although her early career was filled with minor films and television roles, she gained more notoriety in the late 2000s. She has also appeared in Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy and Grey's Anatomy. Her commercials have featured big brands, like Volvo. She continues her acting career with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
